Since Micheal and Jill spends same amount of money, Michael's saving will be $300 more then Jill each month.
Given Micheal saved $3000 more than Jill.
(Michael saved 7000 while Jill saved $4000)
Number of months they saved the money
= $3000 ÷ $300
= 10 months.
Jill, 10 months saved $4000
1 month saved $4000 ÷ 10 =$400
His salary = spend + saving
= $1500 + $400
= $1900
Hope this helps
