1) Take note that Mrs Tan used the cloth from of the cloth that she bought. Hence the ‘cloth left = bought - used’.

2) For addition and subtraction of fractions, make sure you convert the terms to the common denominator first. The common denominator is usually the multiple of the original denominators.
