Alternative method :
Increase their height to be the same as Dawn first.
Total height would be
= 4.76m + 0.15m + 25cm
= 4.76m + 0.15m + 0.25m
= 5.16m
Now we have 3 times of Dawn's height.
Dawn's height = 5.16m ÷ 3 = 1.72m
(For easier long division you can change 5.16m to 516cm, then divide by 3 and convert back to m)
Mandy's height = 1.72m - 0.25m = 1.47m
