This question needs to be explained through demonstrations.

First, use protractor to measure 50° (∠XYZ) and draw the line YZ. We don’t know how many cm YZ is, so just make it very long first and we’ll erase the excess part later on.

Second, use compasses (for drawing circles) and extend it to 5 cm (measure using ruler). Put the sharp, pointed tip on ‘X’ and draw an arc that meets the line YZ.

The point of intersection is the point Z. Then, we draw the line XZ and erase the excess part of YZ.
