There is likely to be a better method for answering part d), through theorems, rather than the brute force method of expanding and cancelling terms.
Haven't recalled it yet, so went with the expansion method.
If you decide to expand complicated fractions or polynomials, do take care to ensure that there are no errors due to signs (+ or -) and dropping of the powers (x²,x³,x⁴ etc)
