Q7a requires factorisation of a2 - b2 and the usage of the identity sin2 x + cos2 x = 1.
Q7b requires the usage of the basic definition sec x = 1 / cos x and the identities 1 + tan2 x = sec2 x and sin x / cos x = tan x.
