The diagram was drawn starting with 5 units from the library for Alan then plotting in 2 units from the library for Bob.
The table shows Bob's speed is twice that of Alan's. Therefore, the difference of 3 units in their distance covered from school (1 Part) to work out that Bob has walked twice of that which is 6 units.
From the table again, Bob took 5 min to walk 2 units of distance, therefore he took 15 min to walk the 6 units from school.
