I suspect a question error, as the diagram indicates that (6, 6) is a point on the curve y2 = x when it actually is not, since the square of 6 is 36. I can trust the x = 6 as asked in the question, but not the corresponding y = 6.

I am now working on my version to see if this will affect the answer, but it should not be the case.
