The logic is clearly not correct.
Let’s say Qiulian has 2400 cards and Tommy has 4800 cards.
If Tommy gives Qiulian 2400 cards, then Qiulian will have 4800 cards altogether and Tommy will have 2400 cards. Obviously the number of cards are not equal.
By the way, in the actual question, the total number of cards is 2400.
