Since 12 is the HCF of the 3 numbers, the sweets can be evenly split into 12 packets, without any remainder.

When finding HCF, locate the common factors of the numbers, then choose those of lower powerand multiply them to derive HCF.

When finding LCM, use highest power of common terms to multiply with uncommon terms to derive LCM.
