I thought the ratio for Ben should be the same for the before and after? And how did you get 42 units for Ben?
Nope.You have missed the point where carl gave his stickers away.Ben is the receiving person so his amount of sweets should increase eventually.What really stays the same are their total sweets since the exchange of sweets take place between them and not any other group.Hope this answer your qn. :)
Well,I add 12u to 30u (what he have at first).Thats where I got 42u.
