Hey bud, use models to help yourself visualise.
Anyway, 2/7 of her allowance had the same value as 2/3 of her remaining allowance. Thus, you can take the book to cost 1/7 of her allowance. 7/7-1/7-2/7=4/7. As such, 4/7 of her allowance was spent on the bag. The rest is P3 math (i think) heh.
