I just have a doubt ,I suppose you could clear it . I want to know why you did the step ,1461.20 + 329.60.

Np! It is to try to make the other combos(chairs lamps table) when added as close to the biggest combo for comparison. This is to figure out the what is the cost of whatever is being left.

No worries, nvm ignore my previous comments.
So I add both costs tgt is because I am trying to get 6 tables, 5 chairs and 3 lamps. But when I add both cost, I would only get 6 tables, 2 chairs and 3 lamps. There is a difference of 3 chairs. So if I minus (\$2174.8 - \$1790.8), that would be the total cost of 3 chairs.
Once u are able to find the cost of 1 chair, u will be able to find the lamp cost as shown in the picture
