G:B
5:3
5+3 = 8
A) 8 units = 928 pupil in the hall
1 unit = 928/8 = 116
Girls ratio 5.
So, 5 units = 116 × 5 = 580 Girls
Then, some girls left the hall and number of boys was twice than the girls.
G:B = 5:3(2) = 5:6
1 unit = 116
6 units of boys = 116 × 6 = 696
Girls in the hall = Total G&B - Total Number of Boys = 928 - 696 = 232 girls in the hall.
Number of girls leave the hall = Old number of total girls in the hall - current girls in the hall = 580 - 232 = 348 girls leave the hall. (Ans)
B) 1 Unit = 116
6 units = 116 × 6 = 696 boys in the hall. (ANS)
