The idea that polynomials can be expressed as a function denoted as f(x) substituting values of x (eg, x=2) can be written as f(2)
If f(2)=0 it means x-2 is a factor
otherwise, f(2)=R, where R is the remainder value
If f(2)=0 it means x-2 is a factor
