I used the method assumption.in my case i first assumed that all the questions are correct. Then i minused the assumed number and the actual number . Then i found the differences between the marks awarded for correct and wrong answers
TAKE NOT WHEN THE IS A deduction of marks you must not minuse them however you must add them .
Then i divided 48 to 4 =12(which is the questions he got wrong)
Then i did 40 -12 to find the correct answers
