the concept is one fixed identity.so c:d is 2:1 and u know diana used 6 beads and diana used 8 beads. so c:d is 6:8 and since diana will be the same,2:1 times four to make it 8 so is 8:4. Easily now, 8-3=5, 5 units=70,1unit=70/5=14,4units=14 times 4=56 and 56/8 =7

May I ask where the 3 units come from when you have to do 8u-3u?
