These are my workings and solutions to both questions 3 & 4. Hope it helps.
For Q3:
Draw a graph to help you understand.
Since C is twice of AB, C is 2 units of AB.
*Note: AB is same as A+B.
Total of residents (A+B+C) = 2928
If C is 2AB,
A+B+2AB = 3AB
Hence, 3AB is 2928.
Since C = 2AB, find 2AB.
Final % is (2AB/2928)*100%.
