Original ratio of long:short is 9:2
However since after cutting 1.65m from the longer string, long string is now 3x longer than short string.

So the new ratio is now 6:2.
Hence comparing the two ratios, 1.65m is 9-6 = 3 units.

3 units = 1.65m
1 unit = 0.55m
2 units = 1.10m

Hence, since short string is 2 units, hence it is 1.10m
