I hope this is right ..
When there are holes poked on the Styrofoam box,less water vapour from the fried chicken will condense on the cooler inner surface of the Styrofoam box .So there will be lesser water droplets dripping onto the chicken wings.Thus,the chicken wing will stay crispier.
