Working the transformation step by step from x to absolute of x, where we delete the part x < 0 and reflect the rest of the part about the y axis including the asymptote. Then we will get the graph of y equals to f absolute of x.

For absolute of x plus 1, we shift the whole graph including the asymptote to the left by 1
