The graph of y=ln x follows a standard shape where it intersects the x-axis at x=1 and has an asymptote of y=0. To sketch y=ln x+1, simply raise an imaginary x-axis at x=1 and draw the standard shape on the imaginary axis. Note: this is not to be confused with y=ln(x+1).
