Hi Russell,

Your ratio written in blue on the paper is a good start to answering the question.

To start of we use the ratio given and total number of counters given to find out how many green counters there are in the box.
This is through the ratio method, no percentage required yet.

The percentage comes in when Fiona added 45 coutners into the box. Using the number of counters found for Red and Blue, use the percentage increase to find out how many was added for Red and Blue respectively.

Then subtract the number of red and blue ADDED, youll get the number of green counters added.
Final step is to take the number of green counters added, over the original number of green counters present multiply by a hundred to get your answer for part b
