I am sorry but I think it is not correct.

16x / 12 - [(18 - 45x) / 12]
should give (16x - 18 + 45x) / 12
and hence (61x - 18) / 12.

The denominator cannot be cancelled out as in the solution in the photo. Additionally, the double negative should add 45x instead of subtract, 18 should be negative after calculation.
