Thank you. How do you get 5u for blue straws, 6u for red and 9u for green.

If the bar is 20u, 1/4 of the 20u is 5u. Left with 15u. 2/5 of the 15u is 6u and left with 9u.

The ratio 2:3 is actually 2/5 and 3/5. Together with the 1/4, the lowest common multiple of 4 and 5 is 20. That is why I used 20u.
