For the first part from the 3rd to 4th working why did your denominator changes from 2 to 4?

at first the denominator 2 is outside of the square root, but since in the question the denominator is inside the sqrt so i brought the 2 into the sqrt. to do that i need to square 2, so denominator becomes 4
