Thanks Willy. But P5 cannot use algebra, though it does makes sense.

Answer makes sense, but unable for P5 to use as it uses algebra to derive the answer and P5, have not been taught algebra yet.

If you can explain to your child systematically using the model drawn, he or she may be able to visualise it. The ‘U’ is what some Teachers use as units. Some may call it ‘parts’. Hope this help.
