First of all, do you know the condition for mutually exclusive events? This must not forget, mutually exclusive events do not intersect...
Second, the outcomes from the tree diagram help you to see if there is any intersection. Can you see the small little A B C D I wrote in red next to the outcomes? From there you can tell if the events intersect...
