The formulae looks correct except for HDF should be HCF.

Thanks for the confirmation. This answer sheet was not the first I had. It's the third piece I think. I started with 1*1, 1*2,2*3,2*4... then I tried to figure out how to count those interaction at cross (not at the square)...I considerd tan(x)=n/m... it was fun. Sorry for HDF, thought it's Highest Dividing Factor. Cheers.
