we assume that the breadth is 1 unit. So the length of the rectangle will be 5/4 times of the breadth, which is (5/4)units. The total perimeter of the rectangle is (5/4)unit+(5/4)units+1unit+1unit= (9/2)units. Since we know that the perimeter is 108cm, (9/2)units = 108cm
9 units =108cm x 2 = 216cm
1 unit= 216cm divided by 9 =24cm
