Eg, question 1: line 1 is y = -5/3 x +5 and line 2 is y = 3/5 x + 24/5. Since (-5/3)*(3/5)=-1, these two lines are perpendicular to each other.

Wheres question 2 has two lines both of which have positive slope ratios, one is 2/3 and the other 3/2, so they are not perpendicular to each other.
