Oh, so K was given as 8?
P2 denotes polynomials with highest order of 2. I mistook it as R2. Sorry. But the solution stands. P2 is just equivalent to R3 btw. Hope this helps.
I think I should write about vector form (p1, p2, p3) and divide it into 3 components t ^ 2 * (...) + t * (...) + (...) but do not know t ^ 2 and t are linearly independent or not
t^2 and t are linearly independent.
