Don't think this is E-maths.

Remember, differentiating displacement (with t) gives velocity, differentiating velocity gives acceleration.

Actually to be pedantic, for part (iv) the answer I gave is for average velocity, which happens to be the same as average speed.

However, if the question asks for average speed for larger t values, the method will only work for velocity, not speed.

Think about it as an exercise. What is the t for the solution not to work?
