Thank you! But how many products will it form? Major and minor ? . But how come the minor product in the book didnt put as 1,3 but only on 1?
This is because in this reaction, more double substituted benzenes are formed instead of mono sub
But how many products will it form ? And i still dont get it why the ch3 isnt on the meta carbon as the minor products? But instead its on the first carbon only . Pls help me
This is assuming there is excess alkyl halides and the procress goes on forever. Since the first mono sub is done, with the excess alkyl halide it can undergo more sub easily as alkyl is electron donating, making the ring more susceptible to electrophilic sub
Does that mean it can make 6 products in total? But can u explain to me . Why the minor product. The ch3 is not on meta but only on carbon no.1 i dont get it . Pls help me . I really need your help :(
