Divide 13 by 3
Multiply 3 with 4 i.e. 12
Subtract 13-12
Remainder is 1
Bring down 7
That makes 17
Divide 17 by 3
Nearest is 5 i.e. 3×5=15
Subtract 17-15
Remainder is 02
2 cannot be further divided by 3
So your ans is 45 quotient and 2 is remainder
