For q7, how do u know final speed is 0?
The astronaut cannot be travelling parallel to ground hence he would be travelling in a parabolic path. As he travels upwards to his peak he decreases in speed due to the force of gravity of that planet acting on him. So at his peak his speed is 0 before it increases back to 3 as he approaches the ground at s=15m. (just like common example of ball thrown vertically upwards then falls downwards)
