Thanks but how come is 2×12
3×2 not 3×12
It's because your finding the area of the garden so, 2x2= 4( area of a small square which is given) . U cannot take the outside of the 4 corners as its not included as the area of the garden. So it's 2x12 as there's 12 boxes so yeap
2×12=24
3×2=6
24×6=144
3×2=6
24×6=144
