1st
a) Point G is to the left of E, whereby angle GEF is 90 degrees. Remember to draw GE such that it is 4cm. Once you are done, connect G to F with a dotted line, then use a compass to find the angle of EGF (I can't help you on this one because I don't have the question paper in actual size).

b) Clockwise is the direction the hands of the clock goes. Anti-clockwise is the opposite. Therefore, the arrow will point to the "left bottom" like the red arrow in the picture. This is the southeast direction :)
