When solving for sum and product (pdt) of roots, always find what is alpha + beta as well as alpha times beta. This way, whatever expressions the question ask for afterwards, you just need to convert them in sum and pdt of roots and then you can substitute in the sum and pdt of roots as seen in part (i)
