hello here are the answers! for question 19, 1 batch of 3 logs take 2 mins. so we need to find the no. of batches. 12 logs / 3 logs = 4 batches. 4 x 2 mins = 8 mins
for question 20, we need to find the distance first. the question is asking us to find speed for a certain time. speed = distance / time.

Qn19] Is actually a trick question??
(On the same rod) To cut 12 pieces you need to saw 11 times. Each saw is 1min. So total need 11 minutes.
