a)
Let amount of oil in Bottle C after the transfer be 1 unit.

Which means oil in Bottle B = 2 units and oil in Bottle A = 4 units.

Total 7 units = 7.35 litres of oil
1 unit = 1.05 litres
4 units = 4.2 litres = 4/5 oil left in Bottle A after transfer
1/5 of oil transferred from A to B = 4.2 / 4 = 1.05 litres

b)
2 units = 2.1 litres = 4/5 oil left in Bottle B after transfer
1/5 oil transferred from B to C = 2.1 / 4 = 0.525 litres
Oil in Bottle C at first = 1.05 - 0.525 = 0.525 litres
