water in tank X:
40 x 30 x 100 ÷ 2 = 60,000
Water in X and Y after being poured:
40 x 30 x 3 x □ + 80 x 30 x □ = 60,000
3,600 x □ + 2,400 x □ = 60,000
6,000 x □ = 60,000
□ = 60,000 ÷ 6,000
□ = 10 cm
