Divide both side with 2
2a/2 = 3b/2
a = 3b/2
Divide both side with b now
a/b = 3b/2b
a/b = 3/2
Therefore,
a:b = 3:2
Divide both side with 2

Divide both side with b now
a/b = 3b/2b
a/b = 3/2
