Hi Can i understand the step which we convert the fractions of apple and bananas into 3/12 and 6/10?
As given, the number of banana pies unsold was twice the number of apple pies unsold.
So ratio of A : B = 1: 2
Hence, We made it to 3:6
In this question,
Apple sold = 9/12 (¾)
Banana sold = 4/10 (⅖)
So ratio of A : B = 1: 2
Hence, We made it to 3:6
In this question,
Apple sold = 9/12 (¾)
Banana sold = 4/10 (⅖)
