usually when i get two inequalities as my final answer i shd combine them to form one inequality right.. so if i write two individual inequalities as my ans i get marked wrong ( when they ask for a range of values)?
No lehy
The two answers ARE the range of values
Even if you try to combine you also cannot cause they do not overlap
No you went get marked wrong you get marked wrong cause you choose the wrong range
Got three range here
Positive negative positive
P<-1 is positive
-1 P>3 is positive
So over here you only want positive
So answer is
P<-1 or p>3
You would get marked wrong if you chose -1 Or if you flipped the -1 and p or 3 and p
Like this -1 P<3
