Can explain further why is $36 not subtracted away from $120? Why choose $39 and $37 to be subtracted away from $120 and not $36 and $37? Thanks.
Based on questions, SMALLEST amount spend in 4th week.
If you take 36&37
4th weeks spending must be = 120-36-37
= $47
If take 36&39
4th week must be = 120-36-39
= $45
Therefore, for smallest amount, we take the bigger value 1st which is 37&39.
If you take 36&37
