Hihi, could yiu please explain 3a, to find the dist from lighthouse to shore, why did u find SQ, and not PS? Thank you.
L is a point and PQ is a line. The shortest distance between a point and a line is the perpendicular distance, thus LS. This is the reason why we always cross a road right opposite. Hope this helps.
