Need to further check with you (for part i) on how did you derive that 3/4 is equal to 3/h.

Sure, nothing to it!

Now we know tan theta is one third. Hence arctan one third gives you the angle theta. After that, tan double theta gives you three quarter. Let me know if you are still in doubt. Regards
