Note that the questions wants us to prove the U(n)=n/(n+1) sequence in this case while giving us another sequence to assist us. I used the standard induction steps here, 1) Base case, 2) Assume U(k) holds true, 3) Try to prove U(k+1) holds. Hope this solution is clear :)
