Since x is the number of students, each student receives 5 stickers and there is leftover of 6 stickers would mean that the total number of stickers are as follows:
5x+6 = number of stickers
7x-38 = number of stickers
When you equate these 2 equations to one another, you will be able to find the unknown x. The unknown x is the number of students.
